The SAT is a standardized test designed to measure basic critical reading, math and writing skills. Most colleges and universities request ACT or SAT score results from applicants. SAT Test 2017 - The SAT 2017 is an internationally recognized standardized test that evaluates a candidate’s knowledge in reading, writing and quantitative aptitude and other specialized subjects. SAT 2017 is taken for undergraduate admission in the United States and some other countries. It assesses how well the test takers analyze and solve problems. It is usually taken by junior and senior high school students and is based on subjects taught in high school programs. SAT test 2017 is of two types: SAT Reasoning Test or SAT and SAT Subjects Test.

SAT 2017 analyses a candidate's ability in four sections - Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, Reading Test, Writing and Language Test and Math. Subject Tests are hour-long, content-based exams that assess a candidate's strength in specific subjects. Unlike the SAT test, some colleges require or recommend that you take SAT Subject Tests. The SAT 2017 is offered seven times each year in the US and six times internationally. Candidates can sit for the SAT test 2017 in October, November, December, January, March, May and June. The SAT is created, owned, and published by The College Board, a not-for-profit organization based in United States. It has been administered since 1926.

SAT Test Pattern 2017

According to the SAT 2017 test pattern, the total duration of the test is 3 hours. However, candidates will be given another 50 minutes for the Essay, which is optional. The new SAT test pattern 2017 has four sections- Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, Reading Test, Writing and Language Test and Math while the Essay is optional. As per the SAT 2017 test pattern, a total of 154 questions are asked, including one essay question.
